Jarvis Walker Yabby Pyramid Nets offer a highly effective and environmentally
friendly way to catch freshwater yabbies. The clever pyramid net design allows
yabbies to drop through the top opening while the angled sides of the pyramid
prevent their escape.
The large open-top also allows non-target species to enter and exit freely,
minimising the potential for bycatch while still providing an efficient way to
net yabbies. The net opening is also reinforced with a fixed wire frame to
keep it in perfect alignment and to prevent the net from stretching out of
shape.
The 600 x 600mm base and the triangular side frames slot together into a rigid
form with the help of a secure-lock mechanism. The triangular articulation of
the locking-slot also resists slipping and it acts as a perfect tie point for
the included lift rope.
The Yabby Pyramid Nets are constructed with durable, high-quality mesh in a
natural grey/green colour tone. The nets also feature a collapsible design for
easy transport and storage.
